Just sharing this upcoming release of Phra Pikkanet images and medallions.

www.srichinda.com

Some background of this batch which I got from a Thai friend.

This batch is actually called Pra Khanet "Bodh Pram Muang Nakorn (short for Nakorn Sri Thammarat province) replicated from the statue dated BE 18-19 century.
All pra bucha and rian (nava-loha) come with running number and code.

Made by Promachart family (Pram family) to commemorate 99th birthday of Pram Jang
Objectives are: to do the maintenance on Bodh Pram (Brahmin chapel), promote culture, heritage, tourism of Nakorn Sri Thammarat province

Then there is an article from Thairath news paper on Promachart family which has been the official palace Pram from the era of King Rama V reign until the present Monarch. In addition to preside at many palace ceremonies, Pram Jang also performed the Pram ceremony on the blessing of Jatukam BE 2530

The Brahman Chapel in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
In Bangkok city, it is known as Devasatan. The red "Giant Swing" (Sao Chingcha) is the distinctive "trademark" for Brahmanism.

My pleasure to share.

Giant Swing is not the Wat Suthat?
FYI, the Brahman Chapel in Bangkok is located opposite the Giant Swing.
The swing was used for a Brahman ritual that has ceased for decades as it was prone to fatalities. The Brahman priests and participants will board up a movable platform and tossed up into the sky (the momentum is similar to the action of a swing or ViKing Ship), attempting to get the bait(pot of gold/monies) placed on top of the swing.
In olden days, there was no safety harness and look at that height of the Giant Swing in Bangkok city!

For that I do not know.
At Devasatan, Phra Rahoo is not worshipped there as it is not truly a Deva.
The three shrine halls are dedicated to Phra Pikkanet, Phra Narai and Phra Isuan. In the open compound, the Mondop houses Phra Phrom.

Hi all, can anyone share experience with LP Hong's Ganehsa with Phra Phrom made in 2546/47? I'd like to learn more on this particular amulet. Thanks.
hi bro..
what do you expect to know abt this amulet?
imho..
if you are dedicate yourself to hindu gods: phra phrom/ganesha/shiva/naray,
whatever amulets have their symbol all are good, no matter who is blessing the amulets.
even if you dont have the amulets of phra phrom/ganesh
you can pray and chant the katha in your heart or you can pray just to their picture.

personally,
i like all lp hong amulets so i would like to recommend it to every bros & sis.

Any pictures waterslager?
Sorry dun have any pics. Just that the amulets were all rented out when I visited Surin last month and a dear friend is going overseas soon for studies and out of the blue somehow, I thought of getting this rian for him. So that sparkled the curiosity on this rian. That's all to it. Many thanks to all.
