I've read this. Some Khun Paen sit cross leg with right hand on knee & left hand towards inside. Some sit cross leg with both palms held together on lap. (sorry i roughly describe)

I heard holding the KP amulet in your mouth and dancing para para in the middle of a crowded road also makes your wish comes true.

Either one of them is the victory pose and two hands together is the casting magic position

Good day all, some pictures for further discussions... (taken from Google)

1: Both hands resting on lap

2: Both palms held together (praying position)

3: Right hand resting on knee, Left hand resting on lap
    [IMG]

These should be the normal positions by KP?

Both hands on lap is samadhi meditation posture. A lot of Buddhist images are in this posture because it is the common meditation posture.

Hands touch the ground is the Victory over Mara posture, when Buddha gained enlightenment under the Bhodhi tree and he touched the ground and said the earth is his witness. This posture is only reserved for images depicting Sakyamuni Buddha.

Palms together Wai posture (praying) is usually used to depict Buddhism followers which can also include Devas and divine beings following the teachings of Buddha.

Over and over again, people kept thinking KP images are referring to the Ayuthaya general Khun Paen. No, the original KP tablets are all depicting the Lord Buddha.

Some later KP amulets made in the recent decades might be referring to the Ayuthayan general, and these are generally occult related rather than religion related. It gets so confusing that even the makers themselves sometimes don't know.

If its an occult item, its just one of the many, many occult items for you to believe or not believe.

If its a Buddha image, then its the image that millions of people worldwide had believe in for the past 2500 years.
