A very old mantra or gatha/kata that was once spoken by the Arahat Asvajit/Assaji and used frequently especially in the school of Mantrayana/Vajrayana and possibly used frequently in many other Buddhist schools that I am not aware of called the Ye Dharma mantra. We use it for a variety of purposes including the pointing of the empty nature, the pointing to the concept of interdependent origination and also if one picks open carefully at every line of the kata or mantra, it points to the 4 Noble Truth itself. It is a very powerful mantra/kata.

Om Ye Dharma Hetu Prabhava Hetun Tesham Tathagato Hyavadat, Tesam Cayo Nirodha, Evam Vadi Mahasramanaye Svaha

Om and Svaha are added later so that it flows like a mantra which without those it becomes a kata or dharani (sacred phrases consisting of possibly a few sentences that is longer than a short mantra).

    ~~OM
Ye dharma hetu prabhava (Regarding dharma that arises from a cause) -> Turning the wheel
Hetun tesham tathagato hyavadat (The Tathagata/Buddha have taught the causes ) -> Teaching on causes
Tesam cayo nirodha (And also their cessations) -> Teaching on remedies
Evam vadi mahashramaye (These were taught by the Great Shramana/Buddha) -> Entering state of non-returning
    SVAHA

On a supreme attainment sense of the Buddha's ultimate teaching of Enlightenment, it shows the paths of cause and effect and finally the state of Shunyata/Emptiness. On the metaphysical sense for empowerments and enchantments, all blessings and magick are simply phenomenas and thus like the clouds of Phenomenas both good and bad that are pushed by the winds of Karma that arise from the blue sky of Shunyata, everything is the appearance or reflection of the blue sky of Shunyata.

Thus, all blessings and empowerments are truely Empty in nature and are inline with the doctrine of the Buddha's discourses on Shunyata and the reason why we usually use the Ye Dharma mantra/kata to begin with empowerments, practices and meditations or blessing of sacred objects because all things are Empty in nature in the most essential sense.

Thus, for those who want to use the Ye Dharma before meditating or practicing the Dharma or who feels that they want to invoke the blessings of all the Buddhas of the Three times and Ten directions to strengthen their faith, self-consecration of sacred objects or so forth, the proper Triple Gems and Buddhadharma which is the Empty nature itself is the sole source of reliable refuge and by thinking of the Triple Gems with faith, contemplating on the Empty nature of all phenomenas and uttering the mantra/kata verbally or silently, we realize for the moment, the nature of the the Buddhadharma and Emptiness itself and thus by doing so, we transfer blessings and grace which is also Empty in nature into the sacred objects and ourselves and to all sentient beings to benefit them all.

The limitation itself is just our limited conceptions as we are not able to perceive the bigger pieces of the working mechanics of Emptiness. By using the Ye Dharma mantra above, we remind ourselves the causes and effects and finally the state of Shunyata/Emptiness and thus our minds expand and more possibilities will appear in our minds as a means to both mundane and supreme accomplishments/siddhis.
