391K People Signed Up for Facebook Event to ‘Storm’ Area 51 & It Became a Memefest

You’d have known about Area 51.

The secretive base has been in countless fiction works, and now, even Netflix has a relatively documentary about the notable base called Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers.

Is it just a base for the US Air Force to test their new airplanes?

Does it house aliens that were captured from Roswell in 1947?

Or worst, could it be the place where scientists engineered Mewtwo?

We’ll never know. At least now in our lifetime.

But if you come across a certain Facebook event, you might think that it’s possible to see what’s inside the base.

Specifically, I’m referring to this event called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop Us All”, whereby a total of 391K people have clicked on “Going” and 407K people are “interested”.

Lest you think Area 51 is like our military camps whereby only a few armed soldiers would be guarding the base at night, you’re wrong.

The base is heavily protected. How protected, you ask. If I know the answer, I won’t be paid minimum wages as a lowly Goody Feed writer now.

But. The group has an idea. To them, numbers are power.

Here’s their description:

We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.

Oh, there’s even an Alien Center tourist attraction?

And just so you know, this is the Naruto Run:

Didn’t know it’s faster than a speeding bullet.

But anyways, as you can tell, it’s a fake event.

And it’s so fake, it becomes a memefest instead, as people posted countless memes in the discussion thread.

Even Facebook can’t handle its fakeness and broke down (this is a real screenshot which occurred even after I refreshed the page a few times):

Oh, wait…is there…a secret meaning there?

Oh my—
