Default Wat Sai Mai Ajahn Od

Sharing my visit to Wat SaiMai in Dec 2550. Some of the bros may have read about it before.
but it was an experience of a lifetime of me & will remain in my memories forever.

Ajahn AOD :"what do you want from Ajahn AOD?"
Me : "blessing & to see Ajahn AOD in real person"
Ajahn AOD : "NO! what do you want????"
i think he could forsee my intention.
Me : "er... blessing & takrud from Ajahn AOD..."
Ajahn AOD : "how many do you want?"
Me : "er... 3? "
Ajahn AOD : " 3 then Ajahn AOD chop you 3 times.. "
Me : *nearly fainted & silence for at least 1min*
Ajahn AOD : "Do you want to be blessed?"
Me : "yes"
Ajahn AOD : "are you sure?"
Me : "yes"

Then i was told to remove my shirt, my CKN rian... while Ajahn AOD retreated to his room to get the parang or chopper you can say...

i kneel, head down facing Ajahn AOD. he grabbed a handful of the takrud & asked me to hold onto it. He started chanting & from his facial expression, you could tell he was in deep concentration.
*as per describe by my bro & wife who were watching the ritual in fear....*

Before i could anticipate the parang chopping on my back.. 3 fast & swifty strike hit me hard on my back.
i recovered while gasping for air & swiftly pray to Ajahn AOD for blessing me.

Ajahn AOD then took out a rubber tube, similar to those wate hose pipe & threw it to me. he then asked me to place on the chopping board & chopped up the rubber pipe into 3 pieces. I think he did that to show that the parang was sharp & he was not performing any trickery in the ritual. The rubber shows a clean cut from the parang, indicating how the parang could have ripped my back apart...

The chopped rubber pipe.
