If one been to any Thai Temples, he/she will notice that there will bound to be Phra Pikanet otherwise known as Ganesha statue house within the temple. There's definite a good reason for doing this which does mean that lord Ganesha existence have help many devotees to be bless with wisdom and over come the challenges they faced.

An article for those who wish to learn about Phra Pikanet / Ganesha

Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, the elephant-headed son of Shiva and Parvati, is widely worshipped as the supreme god of wisdom(education), wealth, money and good fortune. Ganesh or Ganesha is one of the five prime Hindu deities (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Durga being the other four)

People who face hidden and un hidden obstacles in life worship and wear Ganesh to pass through all those obstacles of life. Ganesh also improve harmony in everyday life, wealth & money, good fortune and wisdom.

Ganesh will bless and provides support for you especially toward your manifestation of financial abundance and to spiritually help protect you from losing what you have worked so hard for. Ganesh sweeps away obstacles in your way with his single trunk and clears the path for wealth and abundance at all levels both financially and spiritually.

And not sure if I observed correctly at Indian temples, they seem to pray to Ganesha first before the main gods...? unlike the Chinese style

Somebody shared information regarding this piece bro, on the earlier pages of this thread. It's available in a set of Shiva, Pikanet and Vishnu or you can buy single pieces. From Devasanthan Shrine diagonally opposite Wat Suthat main entrance. Single pieces 299baht per piece. Box set i think around 1k or 1.2k. Sorry bro i bought 1 set for collection and 2 Pikanet one each for gf and i. Haha. See if you can tompang somebody who might be heading there.

Sharing this meaningful article on Phra Pikanet
