What Brother Anand shared is true ; if for example a presence is not disturbing you, then you can leave it alone but if it does then you could consider bringing in someone as shared by Anand. A monk or a group of monks from the nearest temple , Arjahn / Archan or a Medium Tangkee. Its all up to one's personal faith and trust in their religions or practices. House warming and chanting or cleaning and clearing the house is important items is also good. Have a blessed bucha / idol of your faith and worship regularly. An empty dark house usually invites these entities to always camp in your house. Not that a bright and loud house does not but it all depends on whether you clean your house regularly , pray or chant regularly and be positive at home.

Bro its not that easy when you just said oh there are deities here why are the spirits not gone yet. I've personally encountered these kind of stuffs personally but i would love to move on the past, not to mention that we have a Rahu bucha at home too.
hahahaha this quote i like swee, whatever the deity the problem may still persists you still need to consult spiritual help but if you want to DIY is best don't least u might anger the spirits.

I share with you my personal and real experience.
I stay in a private estate in West Coast area. Those who are old enough will know West Coast area used to be a Malay village, along the sea.

When we move in more than about 2 decades ago, my parents noticed I was "talking to people" as a toddler. They got someone to come and "detect" and it was confirmed. A mother and child and an old man (both spirits). We were told they were here before we moved it.
But we have "lived" with them for so many yrs and they are harmless to us. So if they don't do any harm to us, no need to offend them.

Next time share your longans they also hungry. Burn 2 incense sticks offer water also. Invite them and say we all like friends and family. Put a can of cheap beer and some oranges or kuehs.

Later your longan seeds they clear for you. Nice nice and neat in dustbin. Also they become security guard jaga your house and family. You respect them they respect you. Play Dabeizhou Kuan Shih-Yin Ah Maa Bodhisattva Mantras. Be happy they also happy

During 60, My parent or rather older generation just move in the flat knew that house got such guidance and pray to them esp house got toddler. Cantonese called it 床头阿婆。 I stayed near queenstown area when I was born. From what I know most of the house hold also prayed during that time. The place they prayed was near the bed.
