    Sorry if my comments offend those indians bro here....I only "curious"..

    got once....one of my malay colleague told me beware some indians...they know how to cast " bad spell" aka like "curse you etc" ....

    actually in my workplace got this indian fellow..." don't know what spell ..etc..my chinese manager keep protecting him even promote him very fast" whereas he treat us chinese....malays ..like..zzz
    summary is bias....

    than my malay colleague told me..some of them " cast spell blah blah "

    I notice many indians their right hand tied a red string...

    I do have nice fellow indian friends and colleagues so I go to ask them what's that...
    most of them told me is from temple...aka " clean " .

    summary I was curious ..and I need to wake up my manager mind..sometime ...zzzz

    Aiyo....another claim of spell casting sia. By right many should know already, some old folks used to tell me "Malays only know how to anyhow stab people and carry ball" while indians clever at acting and impressing their bosses, not forgetting sibei yaya papaya.

    LOL short & straight to the point. I can't help recalling the same thing my parents and grandparents tell me about Malays and Indians, not being racist.

    Like you said, Christians have alot of nonsense to say, so do Malays and everyone else, as long as their beliefs are not in accord with yours. Me? I always watch my back around Malays and Indians, I can never be too careful around them with advices from old people anyways.

    But that doesn't exclude me from being wary of chinese either.

    well as one bro mention..is true...
    again is not racism here..as we surely have some black sheeps among us...
    Chinese - like to kill , sabo one another
    Malays- lazy , sometime also wayang
    Indians - cunning , arrogant , acting no 1
    eurasians , etc - haven't encounter before much but I do encounter , work with them ..before...so far ok...but they more like " atas" side..same apply those "english speaking" family..if you notice..most of them are christians , catholics ...

    now here come " the funny part" I encounter one christain before....he told me...christians are more well behave..catholitics one more havoc....

    well ..as some bros mention....the points i also agreed...

    Racism abounds.. ignorance prevails.
    I'd rather you say Muslims instead of Malays because some of our Malay brothers and sisters are into Theravada Buddhism and Visha ( Wicha )
    Personally to me, racism , unfounded fear , fabrications and ignorance goes hand in hand. Call it what you may, many of the older generations
    were not wise either. If they are wise , they'd understand that Dhamma is for every single sentient being. Not just for the Chinese per se.
    Also Mahayana Buddhists and Theravadians are different so are the Vajrayanas. We are all family no matter of race or skin color.

    Back to topic ;
    I do not want to accuse you or anything here but to the brother or person affected ;
    please calm down and think through the entire situation carefully. Be careful to not
    over indulge in excessive assumption making decisions or fall into the traps of emotional depression.

    Take time to meditate , have a flower bath at Wat Palelai or Wat Ananda ,
    Learn the Buddhaguna , and of course if you want amulets - seek reputable dealers
    and shops or individuals who can help you.

    Phra Rahu amulets are great but at the same time ; Rahu might eat up your good luck as well.
    Why not look for a Hoon Pa Yoon ( a soldier like effigy usually soaked in metta oil or NMP ) ,
    Takruts from Kruba Noi ( inexpensive and good ) , Phra Phikanet * ( for work or career and to clear obstacles ) ,
    other than that there's more but it would foolish to buy all amulets.

    Try to do more donations ( tamboon ) to the temples , old folks homes , orphanages . etc
    Do good , be calm , learn from your mistakes and jiayo.
