Some authentication agency always being mention as the most recognised / powerful for authenticating amulet..

But sometime just a weird feeling that u can see alot.. I mean is really alot for those limited, rare items from famous LPs having their items certified as authentic items. Many people have it, individual having many pieces... and all are gg v v cheap.. for e.g. they will tell you now in thai is $5000SGD, I letting go at $3000SGD.. just can't help thinking.. one can obtain a authentic card, thai market gg at $5000 and people are satching up than why want to auction it for $3000 in singapore??

Of course, I can't say their item is fake or the card is fake or pinpoint whatever is gg on as I'm just a nobody whom can't authentic any amulets, is just a weird feeling..

Not dircting to anyone or any seller or any agency, just sharing sharing...

    Food for thought

If a person buy amulet based on certified or not...

What makes u tink tat if a person can make solid 3D item like amulet, then why can't they fake a thin paper?

    恭喜发财 happy new yr

There had been rumors going around. Not sure true or false.

Guidelines by Thaphrachan to identify their Authenticity Certification Card. Because there are fakes going around the market.

:dong-onion-head-emoticon: agreed... But is in trend nowsaday.. well guess alot of factors contribute it... want that amulet but don't know how to authentic it, want to see a real piece, want to ask for advise, want to learn but nobody to share and teach so go for authentication card hoping to buy an 'insurance'.

well hard truth amulet fact, when one paid a hefty price n finally have some experience under their belt not many ( of course some will share) will be readily to share or teach for various reason thus the new one also need to go thrg the process to gain the experience if they really into amulet collecting.. if one is good luck and manage to source for a reliable seller, they can cut down some of their demage along the way..

    In addition,

Assuming the amulet given by a Luang Phor or Kruba, personally made by the LP/KB.
But the LP/KB is not that famous.
So will it be deemed as Rejected or certified as Fake?

Then how are we gonna go about this?

I think if the maker is not famous, the chances of his amulets being replicated is lower bah...

Another point is amulets kept / given by monks, not all will know the authenticity or know how to differentiate between real or fake. They are not supposed to indulge in this as well according to their code 227

It is true, not rumor... this is an example of fake certs, i’ve even seen these certs around Hongkong and Sing. I think this international biz is going very well, just precaution, rather cant hav amulet, just dont get fake one.

I prefer less famous LPs and without cert.
This is what happened to one particular batch of bird when the new Abbott from another region got promoted look after an old temple of famous LP. Sadly the birds are with Sg dealers. Feel free and confirm with Village elder

A funny thing is most ppl buy without doing research and without common sense. A tiny dab of LP Taab green wax cost like few hundreds and really hard to get even local in Thailand... but i saw some dealers sold them like hot cakes from oven, “beautiful fresh green” colour and hot smell ink cert! And hey, a KP with full of green wax at the back!!!!!! Told them a hint, they laughed and still dont get it...

Is it real? As long as they feel good then ok la...wear it with faith!

Anyway, this is not with cert, and can see different in colour, is it fake?
Even LP just put little tiny dab on it. And these sellers sell KPs with tons of wax behind, common sense!

Thats the thing about certs..u rent amulet is rent the amulet or rent the paper documentation? Extra paper by so call experts might cost u up a few hundreds more..

and when u want let go..u let go based on paper qualification and not actual amulet...then when someone jumps the line and say the paper is fake...u throw doubts if the amulet is fake also...or people say amulet fake but u insist its real cos got 'certs'

Get what u feel is true to u and not what people say...the amulet is u wear and not others wear...u feel is real ..is real..all lps n kbs make amulets to let devotees feel secured protected n remember karma..

u feel is fake..no matter how high end..u will feel its fake when some poke u..
