    Dear all ,

I've decided to visit KK at korat on 17 june 2013 . Together I'll be going with 2 of my friends . I have never had any trip out of bangkok before and never met any master before too . So this is my first time doing so . I'll be leading my friends on this trip by gathering information from this forum as we had zero experiences on this .

I've booked a driver which is recommended by bros and sis here for 3500 bahts . Whole day temple around korat and back to bangkok.

I hope I'll get to meet KK and perhaps chow some butterfly amulet as well . I hope age does not matter to meet KK as im only 23 . I believe we have alot experiences bros and sis here who had trip to there before . Please advise me if there's anything I need to do or to know on my trip there .

Thank you all & wish me and my friends have a pleasant journey :) cheers

Going to KK temple? Dont worry most of the helpers there already know how to speak chinese and especially when u reached there in taxi. :hilarious:  No tips required, just need to bring more money. Anyway do visit to LP Koon's Museum is definitely a must go see see look look since u are there in Korat.

    Hi,

There I am planning to go Korat on 2-Jan-2014 to pay respect
    Kruba Krissana and Lp Koon.
    ake
Stay a night at Korat and going to Surin, the next day on 3-rd January,
to pay respect to Lp Hong, before coming back to BKK on same day.

    So my question is :
    1. Would it be advisable, if I travel by bus or car(driver) to Korat?
    2. Would it be advisable to travel by bus or car(driver) from Korat to Surin?
    3. Any recommendation on the hotel near to KKrisana temple?

I think this is quite a rush journey considering Surin to Bangkok takes roughly
    9 hours.

Actually I would prefer to travel by car(driver) but having issues on budget.
I don't mind travelling together with other people if using car(driver).

    Thanks.

I went from BKK to Korat on the 11th August. Visited LP Koon museum and got a Somdej there.
KK was not in the temple, only his disciple who can speak a little mandarin - his name was Ajarn Ek-One.
Does anyone know him? I got 2 amulet from him, one he said old one - black with gold butterfly.
Advise - bring lots of money with you.

KK amulets are not cheap now - higher than I expected.
But one things for sure - you get the real thing when you visit his place. You cannot doubt their authenticity. Its a great feeling to go there and see the place for yourself.

Firstly bring lots of money cos some amulets u like could be expensive. Secondly engage a experience driver who know his ways well and have direct temple contact to check whether KK is around. PM me if u need my driver contact as I come back from Korat last week.

    Hi all,
    Just came back from Thailand.
I made a trip to Kruba Krissana @ Kora and engaged Ah Chai for the trip.
    His contact is:
    +668-4549-9049

    Cost: $4ooo bahts.

$4k baht is actually not expensive given his level of customer service.
Ah chai is a half sgporean living in, so language won't be an issue.

Car is a Chevrolet Cruze and it's actually very comfy!

Ah chai is not the kind of driver who will fetch u to your destination and wait in the car, he actually guided me through the temple and helped me ask the monks for advice given that it was my first time there.
I really recommend his service !
    Top notch.

Like many bros suggested, KK butterfly amulets are expensive, but still affordable.

I personally spent 5,500 bahts for 2 amulets, one medium sized and one small....
I really had to restrain myself from buying more!
Think I will be back in nov for a shopping spree and to chow more amulets!!

    Cheers all!
