Just wondering if anyone here is interested to/ currently study the culture and language of Thailand and know places. It would be best if its a group class as the price would be more affordable compared to private. Maybe , just maybe we could form a small group of interested parties and study together..

Jokes aside, you should look through online - Singapore Google - for affordable classes on spoken Thai language. There are some being run by certain community centers and language schools. Chok Dee

Thank you sis Sangmo, Do you happen to know any CC running Thai classes? Ive been looking around for classes in CC as it would be more affordable compared to School.

I am too lazy to learn proper Thai like attending classes, from youtube...I learnt my Thai from long hair dictionary. Learning a new language is not easy, a lot of effort esp when u get older. I have few friends put in a lot of effort, went to attend class, chat with Thais. Now they can speak and write. They can sing in Thai karaoke.

serangoon and eunos CC have. $100 plus to $200. pasir ris, jurong toapayoh also have. I suggest for beginning, learn from internet. They are free. After you have gained some basics, then u join classes. This will maximise your absorption. Last time i learnt it through CDs, never attended any classes.

forgot to mention : for classes at CCs, you can utilise skillsfuture. But try to save the skillsfuture budget for intermediate. Elementary stuff are available in internet plentiful and free.

don't anyhow use. they only give you $500. Use it sparingly. Try to learn it online as much as possible
