Luang Phor Urp, Wat Nong More Kaen

LP Urp is a revered monk hailing from the province of Chainat and is famous for his palakid samut (Civet Cat), star amulets (dao) and various other tarkruts/Krung Lang.

Being the disciple of LP Pinut who was the 1st monk to make the star (dao) using a Nun’s (maechee’s) flesh and also for consecrating the “Shiva’s eye”. LP Urp is now the only living disciple of LP Pinut.

Little known to many, LP Urp is also the nephew of LP Derm Wat Nong Po and has access to LP Derm’s powder/materials a key material in his amulets and meed mors (conquering knifes) and palakids all of which he inserts a significant amount. LP Derm was also the Master that handed him the manual for consecrating Meed Mor’s. Using LP Derms manual LP Urp’s Meed Mors are highly sort after by lay people and Kalawats (Arjans) alike for performing mini rituals on their own with much efficaciousness.

After LP Derm’s passing wood from LP Derm’s Kuti (monk’s quarters) was handed to LP Urp for the production of various Krung Lang ranging from Meed Mor handles, Palakids, Singhas and various other artefacts.
