Brothers and Sisters Beware!
Just some of my sharing on my experience. There is this shop selling some genuinely fake barang amulets at FLS, Level 2. The shop is located near the toilet, next to fortune telling shop, facing staircase. If coming from the stretch of massage shop, it's the corner shop on your left towards the end of the alley. The shop is operated by two brothers with their father owning an amulet factory. There are two personal incidents that makes me wrote this FR for all. I first purchased a yingtong from them, they stated its from AC Tong Come and it is considered to be a very rare barang made for this AC is famous for using very raw and rare material with lotsa of beads and small takruts inside for his amulet. It is was retailed at $180 and I was offered at $120. After chowing and I ask for katha and one of the prodigies mentioned to me that these are higher end barang amulet, need no katha, just communicate thru mind and your wish will grant true. Viola ! I chow the amulet and 3 weeks later, i went back to the shop to take a look at their Kruba Krishnan Butterfly amulet. One of the amulet colour attracted me and I chow the amulet. I noticed there is a mis-match of colour printed on the amulet inserted (most amulets are pack in transparent packing with a colour printed paper backing known "amulet insert").The damage cost me $80 anyway, chow it. The first incident come on the KB butterfly amulet, during one of the major events FLS was AC Meng "Guan Ding" event. Was there with some of the SA bros and my mummy as well. Saw one of my mummy's hardcore thai amulet friends at FLS wrapping his high-end somdei. He has been a vivid thai amulet collectors for years, my mum chat up with him and she ask him to take a look at my amulet. He took the butterfly amulet, look at it, "Hmmm...." , smell it and says " Yup, it's a very real piece...." , I smiled and he said " really well fake....." He asked where I rent it from and I pointed to that shop and he said "Come to my place. I show you what 's real!" - Colour, Artwork and smells totally different! Been wearing the amulets with faith and believe but the effect was very very very flat. One of the most amazing thing I noticed each time I brought out the two amulets for LP to chant. They will look hard at the AC Tong Come amulet, flipping it like many times like prata going to "chao ta" and interestingly, their brows will twitched and fiddled like Cabury advertisment. It is everytime that amulet wor! It have been chanted many by Lersi and LP for many times. All these fantastic looks from various master grew my seed of suspicious to full bloom. None said a thing, until recently, during one of the forum gathering at a Bro's place, I took out this amulet show AC. He took amulet , looked at it seriously, held it in between his palm and mediated, looked at it and look at me and said, " Mai Mee Arai!!!!" This Ajarn concluded my suspicious for none of the master dare said. Very few master will be as powerful as him to be able to read the strength and "filling" of your amulet, most importantly, VOCAL! He is so confident that he requested permission from me that if he could cut up the amulet to show me, I would understand better. I agreed. He then cut out the amulet and shared that the amulet was said to be the ashes of 49 women are just mix of soil and epoxy! The AC then used a pen poked and break the fragments of the bone to show me the honeycome. The bone pieces are bones but not of humans, maybe animals! (I think it belongs to pointed part of the chicken wings discarded at Bedok 85 food hawker bins!) The amulet was soak in red oil which is supposed to be the rare and expensive "Wan Kai Deang " for metta and seneh purposes. Since the oil is for attracton purposes like business and relationship, it supposed to smell good. The oil was poured out and it smells like rancid cooking oil. AC asked how much I chow for and he laugh and tell me that we can get it in Thailand for S$8! We had a good laugh together. One of the brothers, saw my AC Meng rare KP with Lokok and know that I am a vivid fan of AC Meng. I ever asked them about rare AC Meng stuffs. That said AC Meng stuff :bad: they claimed to be the first to bring AC meng tinto Singapore wa before anyone elses. That AC meng sells amulet like them way back before becoming AC. Also claimed that his accountability for rarity is bad, say if a KP is only made 99 pcs. AC Meng will pump more 100pc just for profit purposes. AC Meng lost most his money as his wife gamble away most of his wealth and when is sick due to backfired of his barang. He said no LP or masters in Thailand wanna help AC Meng because of his bad reputation. One of the reasons why KB subin and AC Meng broke up as partners is due to Meng's bad hands with money, that he overused the money from KB Subin temple. I was also told that AC Meng was a mercenary AC that so long you got money, you are his boss and he will be able to make any barang for any purposes for you. As I am writing this, I just wanted to share with many bro and sis, experienced or non-experienced. I understand some may be friends or long years customer to that shop. I just wanted to share the truth. Many of the forummers here may have experienced their Goreng Pisang attitude :arrogant: when you ask and don't buy. Some of us maybe well-to-do and afford such lessons and majority maybe newbies with NSF peanuts pay. Can you imagine: Ingredient A Sand 1/2 teaspoon Epoxy 1/2 teaspoon Stone 1/2 teaspoon Utensils Mould of your favorite (Somdei Wat Rat Kang or LP Tim KP Kuman Plai preferred) Step One - Mix ingredient A together and let stand for 15 mins Step Two - Place epoxy mixture into Mould and allow to be set it. Step Three - Take out moulded pieces and fried 3~5 mins till golden brown Step Four - Garnish with bone fragment, NMP, Wan Kai Deang or colour to your needs. Voila!!! U got your first fake amulet. |
