hi everyone
newbie question..... 1. i have a "mainstream" ganesha and a shiva statue as well as a buddha that i bought from a shop, and i was wondering if i should take them to a temple and have a monk bless it before starting to worship and prying kata to them ? 2.at some point i will be going back overseas and wanted to know if it is ok to bring the hindu statues with me? because i share a place with some other guys and they eat beef. would it be ok to bring the statues with me, if i keep them in my room? or is it not good to have them in a house where other people eat beef? any advise ? thank you |
