GK's Phra Chai-Phra Ngan Humble Collection
Hi All,
I would like to share and showcase my humble and ongoing little collection of Phra Chai and Phra Ngan which I have accumulated from my tiring hunt for the past few months.... Here you go....... Item Name: Antique Ayuthaya Phra Chai 4 Inch Bucha 柬浦寨第一大陰神 -百年胜利法王帕柴 Origin: Made during the Ayuthaya Kingdom Period between AD 1350 - 1767 Description: This ancient statue has been preserved well as its original condition with the original gold-paint is still pretty much intact with visible signs of weathering marks. These artifacts are usually extracted from tombs or Chedi/Pagodas where the final resting place of the ancient royalties were buried as these ancient statues are seen as auspicious by the people of Thailand as they symbolizes Victory and Success. From a Occult perspective Phra Chai is classified as one of the highest level avatar amongst the different forms of Phra Ngan (A Khmer Occult Deity of Witchcraft) and these ancient Ayuthaya statues are said to contained the blessings from sacred khmer spells chanted upon these statues from Ancient Ayuthaya Sanghas, absorbed the powers of the 4 elements (Na-Ma-Pat-Tat) from nature during the years it was kept and buried and some has said the souls of the Ancient Ayuthaya Warriors thus making these statues a prized collection and powerful Occult item for any Occult Adepts/Shamans in Khmer region.
