Hi all, what is the beliefs of buddhist in regards to euthanasia. Is that right? Or should karma be expanded and all living things should die a natural death with no intervention?
My pet is passing away, she has fiv, and kidney disease. She isn't suffering but i think there are moments of discomfort. Sigh. I have euthanised my pets before, but only when they are suffering, and there is no point in prolonging the suffer. But I have also heard that you should allow them to live out their karma. What is Buddha's view on this and what is your view on it..... Thanks. |
